Vellum roses on a pink card

Hi Blogger friends,

This is a very simple card to make it looks so feminine.  You will soon realize with the small amount of accessories to make this, it makes it a breeze to put it together.  Any flower can be used on a card, if using vellum I personally like to stick with subtle, if I am after an elegant look.

I used:

Sue Wilson's - Noble Dies - Ornate Pierced Rectangles CED5502
Half Pearls
Vellum - flower stamps - White embossing powder
Rangers - Stickles Diamond

Weaved card in lavender

Hi Blogger friends,

Welcome back, I hope you are doing well.

Today's card is a weaved card.  I thought it was tricky to use at first, but once I watched Sue Wilson's video on it, with practice I finally got it to work.  Linda and I were really enjoying cutting a few dies at a time but I must say it needs quite a few passes in your cutting/embossing machine.  I was using my metal shim and with a few 90 degree turns it came out quite nicely.  I also added some wax paper so it releases much easier.  I love the pair or dies, although it easily can go on a wish list because it is pricey.

So here is the card:

I used:

Sue Wilson's - Weaving dies - Classic CED5301
Sue Wilson's - Weaving Collection - Striped CED5302
Joy Crafts Dies - French Lily corner 1, 20261
Happy Birthday sentiment - from stash
Banner made from scratch
Rangers - Stickles Diamond
Half pearls
Styrofoam beads
Leaf die

Vintage mini

Hi Blogger friends,

This is fun.  I have had so many cards I had not shared before now that I have to visually deconstruct them in order to give you the material I used.  Then I look for all dies that were used etc....ribbons....

Anyway, I won't give you too many details, it is very interesting to take a card that was made even a few months ago and think of what went into it.  Allowing memory triggers, FUN!

This card today, came together by accident in a way.  I had this miniature vintage photo on my desk for a few months as I was always keeping it there just in case a card may use it one of these days.  I had my background paper I knew I was going to use a Sue Wilson's Die (described below) and some of my handmade flowers, it all came together as if I had planned it ahead of time or even better.

Here it is:

I used:
Stamping Up background paper
Sue Wilson's - French Collection - Provence CED2105
Martha Stewart punch - Fern
Spellbinders - Rose Creations S5-050
Daisy punch - daisies
Vintage image from Pinterest
Rangers - Stickles Diamond on flowers and around vintage image
White flower - my own design
Whole pearl inside the rose
Leaves from die cut stash

Thank you for stopping by my friend, I hope to see you coming back very soon!
I have another card tomorrow, best way not to miss a blog post, please sign up to my blog as you will get an email each time I post something new

Have a great day!

White, yellow and, grey card

Hi Blogger friends,

The card I am sharing today has no Sentiment yet.  I am never sure what I will add so better not put anything until I know right?  At least that's what I think.  Especially good for emergency cards...

This time I dared mixing grey with yellow and white.  Turns out I really loved the look of it with some red flowers.  Bolder and easy to make.

I used:

Sue Wilson's - Striplet - Lattice and Lace CED1610
Tessler dies - Fern (cut in mirror silver) not sure if discontinued
Martha Stewart punch - Hydrangea (3 sizes)
Martha Stewart punch - Fern
Cheery Lynn Designs - Leaves
Embossing Folder - from stash
Half pearls

Hoping you have enjoyed this blog post and please let me know you were visiting I would love to read your comments.  Thanks

Fun card with my flower spray

Hi Blogger friends.

Today's card was fun to make as I wanted to use some of my own handmade flower's selection and see what I could come up with.  It requires a lot of playing but, once I get the spray organized, I can then remove everything and start from the bottom layer (leaves, greeneries) then work up from center to edges.  There is a method to this madness LOL.

I used:
Spellbinders - Heartfelt Creations - HCD716
Spellbinders - A2 Tranquil Moments - S5-216 (corners)
Crushed silk Champagne Ribbon
Memory Box/Poppystamp No1020 Massa Leaf (leaves)
Memory Box/Poppystamp No98311 Grove Branch (gold branch)
Handmade roses

I hope you enjoyed viewing this card.  Come back tomorrow as I have another card to share with you.
Thanks for stopping by.

Have a great day!

Another Birthday card I sent last year

Hi Blogger friends,

Today's card was one that made a friend smile and enjoy what I could make with the Poppy Dies (turned into roses on her card).  It was so much fun to make.  A little labor intensive but a friend is always someone that deserves to get the best of everything.

This card although I don't own a Minc Machine, I have had a foiling machine for quite some time and it does the same work, so for this card I have decided to use my foiling machine and show Angela that my machine works too.  We had a conversation about it, I had told her I would show her how it looks like, no better way than inserting this foiling technique on her Birthday card.

I used:

Sue Wilson's - Noble Dies - Double Pierced Squares - CED5509
Mirror Gold card
Foiling technique used for card insert
Heartfelt Creations - Poppy Die set HCD1-764
Spellbinders - Labels Forty Nine S4-567 (Used in Foiling inside the card)
Spellbinders - Labels 41 S4-469 (very pretty intricate die)
Memory Box/ Poppystamp 807 - Gentle Leaf
Memory Box/Poppystamp 1020 - Massa Leaf
Banner was handmade
Stamp from stash
Half peals
Rangers - Gold Embossing powder
Peel off dots on the background (front)
Crushed Silk ribbon (pink)

I hope you enjoyed your visit, please come back tomorrow for another card to share.  If you have been aspired for your next card I am happy I could be part of the created spark!

Thanks for visiting, dropping a comment or a question is always appreciated.
