Oh as you may have guessed I have been kept very busy lately. Moki is one reason but we also had a week of vacation among all of this "fun madness". Moki is growing fast. I am in full training mode with him. Just a step at a time goes a long way. He is so fast at running away from me when he knows he's in trouble. Being born mid-July it makes him almost 4 months old. Under the fluff you see, there is a little dog. The fur grows so fast while it is making him look bigger he is growing at a normal rate. He was almost 4 pounds at the Vet 2 weeks ago. There should be about 3 more pounds before he is a full adult at estimated 7 pounds like his parents.
So here he is in all is fluffy glory folks,
On the card front, I am having to cram in many projects in the next 3 weeks. I never liked to make Christmas cards when I can wait near the end of November, as I feel I'm more in the mood for it as it looks more like Christmas time. I never felt pressured by what the market dictates out there, starting in July, Christmas cards are made and I shake my head in disbelief. I love to make Christmas cards, don't get me wrong, but I am not falling for the over highly commercialization of it. I make a few cards ahead friends across the pond and the rest of them wait until mid December to be sent out.
So as soon as I have something to show I will post again. Give it about a week. I had a large and so much fun project I just finished. It had been destroyed by my fault dropping the shell of my work to the floor while I was opening the blinds. I have a very rapid dog at grabbing what falls onto the floor, has become a specialty for him. He grabbed it and made quite a few holes, I had to start over again *eye rolling*. Note to self: Remember, the floor is not a safe place anymore....lol
First time dog owner in training here, big time!
Have a wonderful weekend everyone
I will post soon, so come back for more to see...
Thanks for the Moki update! He sounds like quite a character....and finds lots to get into. That's a puppy for you. They can find all kinds of mischief to get into and explore everything. Have a wonderful weekend. Hugs, Geri
