2 cards to share

Hi Blogger friends,

Inspired once again by Becca Feeken's cards, we made ours with other embellishments.  Linda's cards' background was made with shimmering charcoal paper which gave it such an elegant touch.  I was in a green mood that day so mine is green.

Both cards we made the same way except for the embellishments.  As I had mentioned on another blog post last week, Linda and I make the cards all the way to the point when we need embellishments, then we finish all the cards at home, separately, the following week we show what we have finished.  Some weeks we chat more and do little.  Always fun!

We used:
Spellbinders - Lacey Tiers AG-04395
Spellbinders - Triple Floral S6-027
Seam Binding white for bow
*
Embellishments:  Linda used a bow and her handmade poppies we made together one day.  I used some of the flowers I already had in my stash.  A half pearl was added to the center of my card, as for Linda's card she had a gorgeous bling piece to accent her card.  She added some leaves and ferns to her bouquet of flowers.

This is Linda's card below, isn't it so beautiful?
Very well done my friend

Thank you for visiting, hoping you will be coming back soon.   Where questions and comments are always welcome.

Tomorrow's card hint......Valentine's Day card.....
Hugs

  3. Beautiful cards ladies - I love the movement the layering of the die cuts give this card. Again just the right spot to put the flower embellishment seems to break up the geometric feel in just the right way.
