The simple look of a gold accented card

Hi Blogger friends,

Today the card I have for you was pretty simple to make, using the Spellbinders die I will name below, the set makes it so easy to use the whole thing, after making the card, I went again to visit one of my favorite card maker Becca Feeken, to find that she had added some extras within the frame etc...  So I tried it and loved the look of it.  Without the little accent die it would have looked plain or blend.  I added to this card a handmade blue and white rose I made a few weeks ago.

Lighting was an issue with the mirror card, so there are different lighting arrangements, so you can see it better.

Here it is:

Spellbinders - Triple Floral S6-027
Spellbinders - Corners & Accents One S2-097
Sue Wilson's - Finishing Touches - Orange Blossom Leaves CED1447
Seam binding ribbon for the bow
Birthday sentiment from stash
Blue rose, handmade by me

I hope you enjoyed this card, and thank you for stopping by today.  Let me know you were here, I would love to see comments.

Have a wonderful day all
Hugs

  1. I love gold. This seems very regal. The addition of just one flower works perfectly on this card because there is already so much going on, the flower just puts a little pop on it and breaks up the grid design in just the right place.
